Dr. Mohamed Yousif Adam

is a senior economist and development professional with extensive experience in economic research, project management, and conflict-sensitive development initiatives. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Sudan University for Science & Technology, a Master’s in Economics from the University of Khartoum, and a Bachelor’s (Honors) in Economics from the University of Gezira.

Dr. Mohamed has over 25 years of experience spanning academia, international organizations, and development projects. He served as Head of the Department of Economics and Deputy Principal at Elfasher University, combining teaching, research, and academic leadership. He has also worked with UNAMID, UNFPA, CHF International, and the Darfur Reconstruction and Development Fund, focusing on conflict analysis, peacebuilding, early warning systems, and community development interventions.

He has a strong background in financial and project management, including budget analysis, donor reporting, contract management, and implementation oversight.

Mohamed is proficient in MS Office, MS Project, E-Views, and financial/stock control systems, and has completed specialized training in project management, conflict resolution, gender and development, and international public sector accounting standards (IPSAS).
